Process Engineer – France
Our client, a leader in renewable energy innovation, is looking for an experienced Process Engineer to support ongoing projects in areas such as carbon capture, bio-LNG, and hydrogen (H2) separation. Based in Paris, this role offers a unique opportunity to work on pioneering solutions that are shaping the future of clean energy.
Areas of Responsibility and Tasks
Technical Oversight: Provide detailed design and document reviews and assist in equipment and vendor selection.
Safety and Compliance: Participate in regulatory and safety assessments, including HAZID, HAZOP, and QRA processes.
Project Development: Contribute technical expertise to carbon capture, bio-LNG, and H2 separation projects.
Coordination and Control: Oversee integration between work packages to ensure alignment across all technical units.
Project Execution: Produce and monitor work packages, coordinate factory inspections, and commissioning processes, and oversee FAT, SAT, and performance testing.
Operations Support: Assist in data collection and analysis to improve facility performance and enable early fault detection.
Maintenance Collaboration: Work closely with suppliers and operators to establish a comprehensive maintenance schedule.
Qualifications
Engineering degree, with a focus on Chemical, Mechanical, or Process Engineering.
Substantial experience in process engineering, ideally within carbon capture, bio-LNG, or hydrogen sectors.
Strong knowledge of HAZID, HAZOP, and QRA.
Detail-oriented with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Proficient in both written and verbal communication.
