Introduction
We are currently seeking an E&I Supervisor – Coordinator for our client based in Antwerp. This role is essential for overseeing and coordinating the construction of new instrumentation systems and making adjustments to existing systems, including pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.

Function

  • Preparation
    • Actively participate in kick-off meetings for the respective projects.
    • Ensure technical feasibility and review method statements in preparation for work.
    • Guide onboarding processes (safety training & competence testing) for executing partners.
  • Execution
    • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of external partners.
    • Liaise with production, health, safety, and environment (HSE) teams, engineering, and maintenance to ensure smooth project integration.
    • Monitor and enhance safety aspects during project execution through risk analysis, work permits, start-up meetings, site visits, and safety observations.
    • Verify that technical documents align with the latest procedures, specifications, and practical requirements.
    • Assist in tender requests (e.g., site visits with partners) and in the technical qualification of offers.
    • Follow up on actions related to quality execution according to specifications and best practices, including testing and commissioning. Propose solutions for deviations to meet quality standards.
    • Oversee and correct priorities and planning, reporting, and monitoring progress.
    • Resolve both technical and organizational issues.
    • Limit additional costs and manage administrative tasks related to extra and reduced work.

Requirements

  • Professional Bachelor’s degree (or A2 equivalent) with a minimum of 3 years of experience in active execution of instrumentation projects or maintenance.
  • Technical knowledge of legislation, materials, and instrumentation installations within the petrochemical sector (ATEX, AREI, etc.).
  • Practical work experience in a petrochemical or refinery environment, understanding associated risks and work practices.
  • Proficient in using PC applications (provided by TotalEnergies Refinery Antwerp): MS Office, SAP, etc.
  • Language skills (oral and written): Dutch and practical use of English.
