Our client is looking for an E&I Field Supervisor to support a large-scale sustainable project in Antwerp, where they are acting as the EPC contractor. This role requires a strong technical background in Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) field supervision, specifically for installation oversight and technical issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities
The E&I Field Supervisor will be responsible for:
- TOS Definition and Preparation: Lead the development and readiness of Technical Operating Standards.
- QA/QC Documentation: Collect, verify, and validate quality assurance and control forms.
- As-Built Documentation: Ensure the accuracy of red-marked drawings for as-built preparation.
- Cable Testing: Conduct megger tests on cables and manage associated QA/QC documentation.
- Loop Testing and Troubleshooting: Provide assistance during loop testing, resolving any issues that may arise.
- Punch List Management: Develop and resolve punch lists, ensuring completion to standard.
- Technical Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any technical challenges during migration execution, including:
- Discrepancies in installations such as cable layouts or wiring terminations that differ from engineering drawings.
- Technical issues encountered during loop checking activities.
- Adjustments to PLC hardware and modifications to PLC programming to meet project needs.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in E&I field supervision within large-scale industrial projects.
- Strong understanding of QA/QC processes, with attention to technical detail.
- Proficiency in E&I installation, testing, and troubleshooting, with knowledge of PLC systems.
- Effective problem-solving skills for on-site technical challenges.
